5/6/2023 0 Comments Radioeins elektro beats![]() ![]() music, but here again the magic is working way beyond expectations- these guys are playing as if there was no tomorrow! Incredibly intense, heartfelt, inspired, creative- it’s got it all. I don’t know whether it was the eagerness to play music live again after such a long time, the great, cosy atmosphere created by Q (the lamp, the led candles …), the pleasure of getting together with legends of Krautrock/ e. The 3rd and last Bargmann session and the 2nd and last Ulbrich session. The Ulbrich Bargmann Hagedorn Session (BCD#2) (you are so privileged guys to be in possession of that much anticipated box set) I expect to suitably celebrate this album's 50th anniversary in 2023. I do not feel like listening to it yet, after his passing.Īnd after now discovering an entry point into the Sun Ra multiverse via Space Is The Place (studio album). I have not yet dared to listen to Deus Arrakis. Raum, Sessions Box.ĥ0 years Zeit and Schulze's Irrlicht and I have found a personal connection to these records. Just as if there was just as much warmth, love and empathy out there in this world, just as much as everyone needs to thrive. What a way to enjoy these Christmas days, what a way to enjoy a few days off, what a way to end this year. If I wasn't in love with this music already, this box would have got the potential to make me an enthusiastic listener and Tangerine Dream Multiverse explorer. If this box set shows me one thing (unnecessarily after all those previous sessions CDs and similar documents), it is how far this lineup has advanced. Beautiful human voice-like sounds as finally there is some sequencing coming in and taking over and another kind of atmosphere is building, to a great Hoshiko soloing, woven into a lush bed of sequencing, then more rhythmic synth figures are taking the forefront and everything is blending together, until a piano takes centerstage (Paul?) For a short while before again leading into a concluding and atmospheric finale, building to a strong and ecstatically driving finale. Lits of what I hear as Melotron-like sounds, the beginning is relatively delicate and slowly building.Ī lot like a mysterious soundtrack for a movie that only exists when you make it up in your mind. There is so much for me to love within the first two CDs of these seasions, and this is just yet another beauty. I would have skipped it and missed out on something that brings me a lot of joy. Yes, this Sessions Box is very much a high price one, and had I not known so deeply from audience recordings that I will very much love it. What I especially love about these sessions is how often I think: wow, Hoshiko's violin is a beauty in here. Will need to relisten to Southampton, that had paled a bit against this one, I only remember enjoying it as well, but now it has been overwhelmed by Manvhester for the moment. is this just great music, or am I already flying? Just shortly in I thought wow, if that is a guitar it blends in nicely, and. ![]() I reached for the CD cover and yes, that session is with Rothery. ![]() Manchester is another spontanious standout. Just about to finish a first listen to CD2. ![]()
